Hi all. I joined recently after lurking for a while. My wife and I, married 16 years, started our male chastity journey in mid-September 2014. For some reason, I remain uneasy about whether it will be too big, too small, too short, or too tight/loose. It was expensive if it turns out to just sit there as decoration. I chose the 45mm ring because I already have one that fits well. I’ve read that the HT-2’s 45mm ring runs slightly large, so even if the L-01 ring is a bit tighter, it should be fine. I also opted for the non-removable urethral tube but am second-guessing myself now. If the tube becomes uncomfortable and I need relief, I can switch back to my HT-2 for a few days. I picked the L-01 primarily because of its urethral tube; what’s the point of wearing such a device without it?

I remove my HT-2 during every shower to wash myself thoroughly. I dislike how hygiene works with the solid plastic tube design. After everything dries, I use the stocking method to put myself back in. I’ve never really felt insecure about the lighter security of the HT-2. While the L-01’s urethral tube won’t add massive security compared to that, it means I won’t have to take it out daily or twice a day for showers.

I chose the HT-2 because reviews praised it as an excellent off-the-shelf starter unit, and clearly, that was the right move. The Looker 01 is my choice for something more permanent: it’s an open cage that cleans easily, and I enjoy the idea of constant stimulation from the urethral tube. Since my wife and I occasionally play with sounds, I’m no stranger to having my penis penetrated.
