I would rather be the ordinary version than the exciting one
Looking for a couple who want somebody who becomes normal
The best stretch I have had was the year where nothing about me was exciting any more. We had a standing Thursday. I knew where the glasses were. Her husband and I had a running argument about a football team that lasted eleven months and was never resolved.
That is what I am for and it is a hard thing to advertise, because everything about the way this board works rewards a man who sounds like an event. I am not an event. I am somebody who turns up on Thursday.
Forty one, the east side, eight years in, four arrangements, the longest three years.
What I have noticed is that couples who start with the exciting version often want the ordinary version by month four, and by then everybody has established a set of expectations that is hard to climb down from. So I would rather begin where we are going to end up.
I can host, I cook competently, and I am extremely easy to organise. Not looking for a couple who want intensity, at least not for long, because I will disappoint you around week six. Not looking to be anybody's first, which is not snobbery so much as knowing what I am bad at. Not looking for anything where the husband is at the edge of it.
Before the first drink Replying goes through the connected platform, so nothing about you is shared until you decide to share it. Take contact slowly and keep identifying details back until trust is earned. Meet somewhere public the first time, with your own way home from it, and if you are a couple then go together. Tell someone outside it where you are going. Never send money to someone you have not met. And if a post or a reply reads wrong, flag it rather than talking yourself out of the feeling.
