Going Back Into the Cage

I maintain smooth genital and anal regions for hygiene reasons and because I enjoy the sensation. I’ve been doing this for years without issue, but roughly a month back an ingrown hair appeared near my penis base where it meets the ring. It turned into a bothersome sore; I visited a dermatologist (uncaged;) ) and stayed out of the device for a few weeks. My wife holds her key while I possess another one that I use as I please. I always inform her whether I’ve taken off or reinserted my cage. I’m quite responsible—no infidelity, even though being uncaged during showers sometimes tempts me… but let’s move on. The afternoon before yesterday convinced me the sore had healed enough to put it back on. I tried a metal model first, which felt heavy and uncomfortable, then switched to a very light nylon one that gave me that tight, reassuring sensation I’m so familiar with. Ah, home in the cage again. This morning as I cuddled my wife, I was happy to notice the usual swelling pressing against the sides. Being uncaged wasn’t terrible, but it feels right being back.
