Color Changes While Locked Up

Hi everyone, I wanted to double-check something because my wife got a bit spooked today. I was all worked up and trying to break out of the cage. While we were enjoying ourselves, I got quite excited, and the part of my penis inside the cage turned dark—almost purple. Once I removed both the cage and the ring, it returned to its usual shade. Does this happen to everyone else? My fit is great when soft, with just enough wiggle room, and the base ring isn’t too tight. It sits closer to my second knuckle while flaccid. Just curious if everything seems normal.
