Hello everyone! This is my first post here, though I’ve spent the last three years diving deep into research on various devices.
Right now, my only device is a Bon4 (plus model) fitted with the smaller tube and smallest ring. However, I’ll be switching back to the next size up because the current one has torn; it’s nearly identical in dimensions anyway. This tear is what led me to seek out Keyed Holding (KH) and looking for a high-quality steel device.
Over these past 3.5 years, I’ve worn the Bon4 almost constantly with breaks of about two months at a time, plus a couple longer stretches where I wasn’t in KH control.
What I need:
- Steel construction. No more plastic, cheap Chinese copies, or silicone.
- Custom fit, made to measure for me.
- Maximum security without Penile Arousal (PA), and not a belt—just a cage. We know 100% secure isn’t totally realistic with these constraints, so my keywords are “as secure as possible.”
Variables: We’re leaning toward as our manufacturer because the feedback has been excellent and prices seem reasonable compared to others.
I prefer a fully enclosed design for several reasons. That said, I understand that for long-term wear we might need to balance enclosure with open designs for better hygiene, or ensure the cage is removed/cleaned regularly.
Questions: From my research so far, I like the “Steelheart” line (models 1 & 2) and the classic “Crossfire.” The Revenge seems closest to hitting that balance between enclosure and hygiene. My ranking looks roughly like this: (1) SteelHeart 1 // (2) SteelHeart 2 // (3) CrossFire // (4) Revenge // (5)?
- For those who have bought from D, can they do a lot of customization? Has anyone had a device made completely custom from scratch?
- Regarding the powder finish: I know it helps with allergies, but does it improve texture/feel regarding friction or general comfort (hot/cold)? Also, in my opinion, black looks great, but is the extra cost justified if it’s purely cosmetic?
- I’ve read many reviews about different configurations. One review from a while back strongly recommended getting several extras, calling them “necessities” for long-term wear, though I can’t find that specific thread anymore. With little experience in the SteelWorxx line and some add-on descriptions still being unclear to me, any opinions based on personal use would be very helpful.
- Between this forum and others, there are many devices (good, bad, mediocre) and lots of reviews to sort through. One thing that has worried me slightly is the scarcity of reviews for … it’s a beautifully designed site (professional look, though navigation can be tricky) and the devices are artistic. It’s hard to imagine they aren’t high quality, especially with prices reflecting that status—they sit on the “top shelf,” some even costing more than the best belts I’ve seen. Maybe this answers my own question lol, but; --->What is the reason for the apparent lack of reviews for their pieces? Or could someone point me to a link or two? I’m fascinated and hope there are options in our price range.
- Actually, more of a statement:) Any extra advice or comments are always welcome.
