One rule and it is about my phone, and I will not bend it
Looking for somebody whose habits are already careful
One rule, and it is about my phone. Nothing that identifies me, nothing that identifies you, no photographs in either direction ever, and nothing written that would be a problem if either phone ended up in somebody else's hand.
That is not paranoia dressed up as caution. My work involves other people's children, in a role where an accusation does not need to be true to end a career, and I made my peace years ago with the fact that this part of my life has to be run like an operation.
Forty six, the west, married nineteen years, seven of them like this. Three men, no incidents, and every one of them was told the rule in the first week and kept it.
What I have found is that the men who are safe about this are already careful about their own lives. The ones who tell me not to worry are almost always the ones who would tell a friend after a good evening.
My husband knows the whole of it and set half the rules himself. Not looking for anyone who wants a photograph at any stage, including after we have met. Not looking for anyone who finds the rule excessive, which is a perfectly reasonable view and simply means we are not for each other. Not looking for anyone who will keep the rule while I am new and forget it in month five.
Before the first drink Replying goes through the connected platform, so nothing about you is shared until you decide to share it. Take contact slowly and keep identifying details back until trust is earned. Meet somewhere public the first time, with your own way home from it, and if you are a couple then go together. Tell someone outside it where you are going. Never send money to someone you have not met. And if a post or a reply reads wrong, flag it rather than talking yourself out of the feeling.
