Single man
New to this, midlands, would rather say so than pretend
Looking for a couple with the patience for someone genuinely new
I have read enough of these to know that saying I am new is probably a disadvantage. Saying the other thing seems worse.
Six months of reading, three socials, one conversation with a couple that did not go anywhere and taught me a lot anyway. What I understood late is that most of this is about being reliable rather than impressive.
So: I am thirty four, I work shifts, I am unremarkable and fairly quiet. I would like a couple who are willing to go at the pace of somebody who has not done it before, and who will tell me straight when I get something wrong.
Happy to do a video call. Happy to have both of you ask me anything. Happy to be told no.
I am not looking to message one of you privately, and I would not ask. I am not looking for anything to happen quickly. If the answer after a first drink is that I am not right for you, I would honestly rather hear it than be left waiting.
Before the first drink Replying goes through the connected platform, so nothing about you is shared until you decide to share it. Take contact slowly and keep identifying details back until trust is earned. Meet somewhere public the first time, with your own way home from it, and if you are a couple then go together. Tell someone outside it where you are going. Never send money to someone you have not met. And if a post or a reply reads wrong, flag it rather than talking yourself out of the feeling.
