I have a condition that flares without much warning, so I cannot commit to a date three weeks out and mean it. What I can do is tell you on a Monday that this is a good week. That is the actual shape of my availability and it has ended more of these than anything else about me has.

On a good week I am good company and completely ordinary. On a bad week I am unavailable and I am not interested in being visited. The two states are separate and I would like to keep them that way.
Not looking for sympathy, of which I have plenty. Not looking for a man who needs the month planned. Not looking for anyone who reads a cancelled evening as a verdict on himself.
