I’m quite new to the world of chastity. We bought a CB-6000 and I’ve been wearing it for stretches of about eight to ten hours at once. Since my testicles sit high and tight, I’ve stuck with the biggest ring available so far. However, I’m dealing with sharp pinching underneath where they rest, which has caused chafing and left me quite tender. Today, I asked my wife for the keys because I wanted to investigate why it was rubbing raw and see if there’s a way to ease that discomfort.
It turns out the solution is straightforward.
When you hold up one of these cuff rings and examine its cross-section, notice that both the front and back edges have grooves. On each side of the ring structure itself sit two small plastic ridges. These create shallow indentations about 1/8” deep on either face of every cuff ring.
The tissue beneath my testicles gets pushed into this forward-facing groove, bunching up in the process and getting caught there.
To fix it, I used a Dremel rotary tool equipped with a sanding drum to grind down those two small lips at the front of the ring. This effectively eliminates the problematic groove formed by those ridges. After doing most of the grinding with the power tool, I took a piece of #150 grit and sanded it manually to smooth out any rough marks from the machine. Then I progressed through up to #400 grit before finishing off with some #600 cloth sandpaper. The result is that the front face of the cuff ring now feels very round and polished.
Please refer to the attached diagrams. One shows a side view (cross-section) of an unmodified standard ring, while the other illustrates how I smoothed out those areas.
