Late one night, Madam and I talked about the two men she is thinking over. She asked whether I would like to meet them acting in a feminine or masculine capacity. This caught me slightly off guard since I usually operate in the feminine role, keeping masculinity for when it’s truly needed (like with family, my ex-wife, or business matters).

Naturally, I said that the right position is definitely feminine, fitting into the maid/housekeeper persona she has assigned to me. I don’t mind being introduced this way or serving in that capacity while they are visiting our home. The main thing I noted was that these men need to know that I deserve respect.

Neither Madam nor I care much for humiliation. Serving her and maintaining our committed bond (we’re engaged, with wedding plans set for next year) is a privilege we both value. Mutual respect matters just as much in our dynamic regardless of specific roles. I made it clear that this needed to be communicated to the men involved in her life, especially since we both agreed I should get to meet them.

Humiliation isn’t a hard limit for me (I basically accept none from Madam), but it turns out we were on the same page: her partners need to understand that their treatment of me matters within any relationship with Madam. Belittling the maid won’t be accepted.

Madam has always shown she treasures me, so hearing that our views aligned on this felt good. It was reassuring to know my concerns and opinions would count (even though Madam holds final authority).

Where this goes next

Couples threads are logistics with feelings attached: what to write down, what to hand over, who pays for what, and how long any of it takes. Two of these pages are about the agreement itself, and the third is the honest answer about the calendar.
