Is anyone still posting? Has the popularity of chastity dropped off?

It looks like very few folks post or reply here, and I’m wondering if that signals the end of the chastity boom. Things really took off when affordable clones hit the market. Before that, you had to spend a good chunk of change on a fetish you might not even enjoy, with odds stacked against long-term interest. Now the shelves are full, letting you give it a shot for less than $25.

It also seems like most internet posters lock themselves up. I still don’t get why anyone would want to deny themselves like that, but those guys usually pop in and out within weeks or months. The real joy of chastity comes from being edged and teased daily by your key holder, staying chaste not just because you’re locked, but because of the promise made to her/him. I also think many newcomers mistakenly believe locking prevents orgasm entirely. We know that isn’t true.

So what’s the current state? Is chastity a dying fetish now that everyone who wanted to try it has done so? The cuckold or hot wife scene remains by far the most popular. I was doing those things back in the early 70s, before they were even considered a “thing.” So where did everyone go? What do you all think about chastity? Is it fading out or still growing? Is this forum just slow compared to everywhere else? Sometimes I feel like one of the few doing long-term orgasm denial and everyday lockup. I tend to dive deep into my fetishes and commit fully. When I was into S&M, the pain makes me squirm even now, but I always go all in. Am I really alone, or do most people just lurk without posting? Will this post actually get a reply?:)

Where this goes next

Every thread on this board is somebody in the same few months of their life, told from different ends of it: the conversation that has not happened yet, the one that ended in tears, the drink that went well, and the weeks afterwards. The site has a page for each, and one account of an evening written while it was still fresh.
