New here, saying hello to everyone. This is my first post and I want to briefly share my experience and interest in chastity. My wife and I have been married for over five years. We started out pretty wild and continued experimenting as we went along. We have two children now and consider ourselves finished with procreation. So, we’re looking forward to the next chapter of our sexuality - post reproduction… sort of. We are excited about where we stand in life and ready to expand our sexual experiences. Basically, it is all about pleasure now, separated from our regular lives as responsible citizens, parents, and workers—and so on. There’s a reason we lock the bedroom door at night. About a year ago, after discovering and fantasizing about male chastity for a while, we bought a birdlocked device. My “maiden voyage” in it was eye-opening. I didn’t realize the psychological power of male chastity before this. When she first locked me, I felt like I had when I first fell for her. I thought about her all day long every single day. I went out of my way to please her in many ways - mostly non-sexual ones. Flowers, poetry… general romance. She had complained previously that while I was a generally romantic guy, I could get lazy with it and things were becoming routine. So my new devotion to romance really worked for her. She loved it and decided chastity was right for us. In turn, I received attention from her with newfound exuberance, and the whole thing was working very well. I would love to remain in chastity, and for both of us to feel this way all the time. However, there are limitations to a birdlocked device. I’m not trying to put it down; as much as it is, it’s a well-built piece. As an engineer, I appreciate the amount of work that went into its design and manufacture. It is very comfortable and not restrictive - because it is soft, it doesn’t make noise if you bump into hard surfaces during normal daily movement. There are many good things to say about it. But I discovered after wearing it for about 9 days that first time that you just can’t keep it on long term indefinitely. As much as I was careful to clean everything well - it didn’t matter enough. You couldn’t get your penis dry or, more importantly, keep it dry. Skin can’t be moist all the time… I got a rash from wearing the thing during that first stint. It freaked me out. It took a week for it to heal. And it was a while before I tried putting it on again; I thought I had broken my dick or something. I felt like I made a mistake trying this whole chastity thing. It was very frustrating because we both really loved the psychological effects of male chastity. We both wanted to push it towards longer periods. But, I can only go about 3-4 days in it without needing a couple of days off to let my member be free and clean and dry. So, if you’re looking at the birdlocked - I will say it is a very well-built device that works nicely - but don’t expect it to be a long-term wear solution. It would be great for someone like a traveling business man whose mistress needs him locked up in something plastic so he can get through a metal detector. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, we ordered a jailbird device from Mature Metal and are waiting for it to arrive. I will certainly give an initial review on it, as well as one after some long-term evaluation. If anyone reads this and would like to help me out here - I’m very curious: how long can you stay in chastity personally? (Or how long can you keep your man locked up?)
