Hey everyone, I’m the new guy here. My Beautiful Wife loves to tease me, and we’ve begun experimenting with this chastity device.
With my unusual background in metal plating, I was keen to check out the finish quality on this piece. It appears to be a die-cast cage paired with a hinged ring. The ring boasts a pleasantly smooth surface, but the inside of the “bars” on the cage has quite a few sharp edges. Surprisingly, though, the overall plating finish is excellent.
The Good: I love the chrome finish! Why does that matter? When chrome peels away, it forms razor-sharp, paper-thin blades that flake off and cause cuts. This one looks like a high-quality plating job. Plus, the chrome provides a very smooth surface that feels nice against the skin if you have some lubricant in play. The hinged ring is straightforward to put on once you locate your “sweet spot.” You no longer need to fish each testicle through individually.
The cage’s weight is impressive and looks quite intimidating.
The Bad: Those sharp edges inside the cage “bars” can be painful at unexpected times. You don’t notice them until suddenly it feels like you’re being sliced up. This could actually work in favor of a Domme; if she enjoys seeing you wince occasionally, this device delivers that effect nicely. The hinge area also has a “pinch point” that might catch you when closing the ring—easily avoided with practice.
HOWEVER, that small gap will still grab your perineum even after the ring is locked shut. It really does! I tried covering the hinge with rubber tubing, but it wasn’t very effective. Shrink tubing might be a better option; not a bad idea at all. There’s also an annoying pinch point between the two components while wearing it because the tolerance between assembled parts is quite loose.
Getting it on (so to speak) - The first time you attempt this, you essentially need three hands. Use your thumb and index finger to encircle the base of your penis and scrotum, compressing everything and giving them a good stretch. Then use your other hand to c a r e f u l l y close the ring around your junk (don’t forget that pinch point underneath). It should fit slightly tighter than a standard cock ring.
While keeping one hand holding the ring shut, use your remaining two hands to guide your penis into the cage and tuck everything out of the way so nothing gets trapped between the ring and the cage. Next, thread the lock tab on the ring through the slot in the cage to hold it all in place. Finally (with whichever hand you have available), attach the padlock.
Voila!
If you aren’t a relative of Goddess Vishnu with an army of arms, here’s a handy trick: Once the ring is closed, slide a #7 plumbing “O” ring over the padlock tab to keep things secured. I hoped these O-rings would act as bushings to stop pinching directly above the penis, but they lacked enough springiness to compress while inserting the padlock.
That said, they work very well for holding the ring steady while you feed yourself into the cage.
So what did I discover helps with that top pinch? A simple hair tie. I wrap it around the padlock tab a couple of times and then position the cage. The hair tie fills the gap and compresses enough to allow the padlock in place.
How about the bottom pinch? Honestly, nuthin’. I might try heat shrink tubing later on, but for now, I’ll just deal with that pinch as my Beautiful Wife dictates.
