I guess you could call me a regular lurker. I’ve hung out in plenty of forums and checked out all the manufacturers currently doing business. My interest isn’t just confined to chastity; I also love crafting my own gear. For five years, I dreamed of owning a steel chastity belt made by myself. Now that I have one, it’s time to share it with you.

This is actually my very first post here, so feel free to be patient as I take these tentative steps out of the shadows.

Initially, I was debating between a full belt and a trapped ball setup, but since my early experiences were with the latter, that seemed like the natural starting point for me.

My budget hovered around 350-400 EUR, considering either a Steelworxx Looker 02 or their steel shemale belt. However, neither company responded to my orders inquiries promptly enough. Impatient, I consulted Pansytart’s measuring guide and began designing my own version. In the end, it took me four days and cost less than 50 EUR in materials.

The result was a steel cage that initially measured half an inch too long but became perfect once shortened. It doesn’t restrict circulation or cause pain anymore. The only downside is that before shortening it, I could sleep through nocturnal erections; now, however, the small knob tends to poke into the mattress in the morning. No big deal—I just head to the bathroom to pee and go back to bed.

Shortening also helped align my tip better, allowing me to stand while urinating without making a mess. Plus, the shorter version doesn’t get caught in trousers or tug on the testicles. I can wear any pants—usually briefs or boxers—and have a normal bulge that isn’t uncomfortable or protruding.

At work, I need good mobility because my job requires wearing protective jumpsuits and climbing under trucks.

There are some drawbacks, as with all trapped ball devices: it’s not very secure unless you use a urethral insert or get a PA piercing. A teeth-pull mechanism might be useful for feedback, though I’m somewhat skeptical about its long-term effectiveness due to potential chafing.

I’d love our community to discuss how we can make such devices more secure and DIY-friendly. If anyone is interested, I’d be happy to explain exactly how this belt was constructed. The tools I used were quite basic; the highlight was an MMA welder from a manufacturer I highly regard.
