hey everyone, I’ve struggled for years with the device basering digging in and pulling out. My current favorite is the steel jailhouse model; I use a 1 1/2” ring which is slightly larger than standard to help. To avoid catching it at awkward moments or places, I stack generic stainless rings on top of rubber ones (sourced from sex toy shops). Positioning them above the basering works well enough, though managing multiple layers can be cumbersome with all the putting on and taking off involved. Recently, however, I found some in my size that are 3/8” tall and thickened just right to prevent digging or cutting. They came straight from the stockroom. Got mine today, naturally it’s already locked in place. Can’t wait until tomorrow morning! This is the key for you guys: if your basering causes pullout or cuts into things, a correctly sized ring across all dimensions placed above it does the trick—finally!
