Introductions discussion

So, I might as well reintroduce myself. My wife suggested it a couple of years ago that I give up something for Lent, and she wasn’t entirely wrong since we’re not exactly Christian but study theology at university level; she firmly believes in sacrificing something meaningful. So last year was mostly spent encased in plastic. I started a blog but got busy with work and didn’t post much:

After years of traveling, we’ve settled down again. Over the past few days, we’ve been measuring everything up. We ordered a full steel belt (my-steel total) and have been double-checking and triple-checking the measurements one last time this afternoon to finalize the order.
