Hello everyone,
I’ve had a Birdcage that I’ve experimented with before, but over the past week my girlfriend and I have really committed to it. I’ve been wearing it continuously for seven days, only taking it off to wash up and occasionally while sleeping. The issue is that I’ve realized quite quickly how easy it is to slip out of it and put it back on without her noticing. Is there a way to secure it better or maybe buy a smaller ring? I’ve searched online everywhere but haven’t had any luck yet.
It might matter that this is an inexpensive model from eBay, though the build quality and metal have always been top-notch; it’s just the ring size that’s too large.
I’m also planning to switch devices anyway because the Birdcage feels a bit long for daily wear at work. Since I don’t live in America or Europe, exchange rates make buying from other places impractical, so eBay is really my only option right now. Here are the models I’m considering:
- CB3000/6000: Not original, obviously, but good enough for casual use. I’ve always liked how they look when locked.
- Bon4: After reading reviews, these seem better than the CBxxxx series, though they usually cost twice as much—so only if I decide to commit fully.
- Staying with metal: The Jailbird or M300 devices are the most affordable options. I prefer their open cage design for cleaning purposes. Between those two, I lean toward the M300 because its hinged ring makes removal easier even when erect.
Any thoughts?
