Hi there. I’ve been scrolling through several pages on Fetlife while considering buying a steel full belt from Locked In Steel, and I came across some truly awful customer complaints that seem to have persisted for at least the last year regarding items purchased directly from them. After spending hours reading complaint after complaint—and honestly dealing with what felt like rather lame and incredulous excuses from owner Jillian—I’m curious if anyone here on this site has actually used Locked In Steel, ordered items in the last six months, and found everything okay without issues receiving their goods? It looked from the posts and replies as though L.I.S. might not even stay in business, especially since so many people apparently remain unaware of these problems while continuing to order and pay for new belts, with some left hanging for up to 18 months in certain cases. Having experienced a similar situation myself over here with Richard at Tollyboy, I know how frustrating it is when they hold your money but won’t answer the phone or reply to endless emails; I was lucky enough to finally receive my belt, but I swore then that I’d never get caught out like that again, which brings me to my question?
