Overall, I’ve been quite pleased with the curve. It hasn’t been perfect, but until recently those imperfections didn’t bother me as much. Perhaps it’s not even the device itself so much as my own body. I consider myself a fairly well-endowed man, and fortunately, my wife tends to stroke my ego too. Most of the sites where I’ve looked for guidance on measuring up for a steel device have raised concerns about that same curve issue.

The problem is that I’m a grower, so my size fluctuates significantly between soft and hard states. With CB rings, if I use the largest ring, I can stay comfortable day and night as well as in the morning. However, with the second-to-largest ring, comfort drops; after moving around as usual, chafing becomes an issue. Over the past few months I’ve been trying to acclimate, but wearing it all day is tough. Nighttime sleep has also suffered greatly. I still can’t manage to wear it through a morning erection. When that happens up front, not only does the skin around my balls become so sensitive that movement is painful, but the erection seems to restrict blood flow to them too. Consequently, I wake with a cold package and achy balls, plus the sting of raw skin.

The silver lining regarding these ring issues is that when soft, I can slide my penis out and back in without unlocking the cage by using two of the larger rings. This isn’t possible with the middle-sized ring, which also makes it unsuitable for anything other than lying still for extended periods.

So, I’m anxious about spending a good amount on a high-quality steel device only to remain plagued by these curve-related issues. Is this just part of what you accept when choosing a chastity tube over a belt? I’ve never been fond of belts; they seem too bulky to wear unnoticed in public. From reading here, it seems many share similar ring concerns, so I’m wondering if anyone has found better results with other devices. Since this is my first one, I’m unsure whether the problem lies in design flaws common to these ‘one size fits all’ models or if a custom device would solve them.

Thank you for your help.

Where this goes next

Every thread on this board is somebody in the same few months of their life, told from different ends of it: the conversation that has not happened yet, the one that ended in tears, the drink that went well, and the weeks afterwards. The site has a page for each, and one account of an evening written while it was still fresh.
