i picked up a cb3000 yesterday and put it on. When i showed it to my Wife, She was furious! i had handed Her the keys before revealing it. She grabbed them and walked out. i’d brought this topic up earlier and She wasn’t pleased, but we were dealing with problems and arguing frequently back then. i’ve been behaving much better recently so I decided to try again by giving her a surprise. Bad move! i originally showed Her Lori’s 12e, hoping to purchase it for Her and have Her monogram engraved on the shield. i also wondered if the price played a role in how upset She got but i realize now that wasn’t the issue. She told me today that i need to stay somewhere else for a while because i’m “warped!”. i’m not completely thrilled about the idea but since She is so angry I should probably just do it without question. If there is any hope, She still has the keys, i believe. She didn’t return them to me but She might have thrown them out of Her car window when She went for a drive last night. i’ve shared most of this in my original thread in the foyer but figured this was a better spot. i do have one question for those who are more experinced though. If She does keep the keys when She sends me to a hotel, is that a good reason to think She may continue to keep them if/when She lets me back in?
