My girlfriend and I are looking into picking up some kind of device. I’d love to hear what recommendations you all have. We’re aiming for a good balance of price, comfort, security, and durability… From what people say, every option has its pros and cons: The Birdlocked feels very comfortable; there seem to be mixed reports on how secure it is, and I’ve heard questions about whether the Keyholder can lock it. The 6k offers decent security, seems possible for a KH to apply, though opinions are split. The 2k might be even more comfortable than the 6k? Perhaps less durable? It provides adequate security too, and likely works with a KH application. The entry-level prices seem to start around at least $150, which is reasonable. I don’t think we need something designed for extended wear (unless she gets really into it), but comfort would still be great especially during longer periods of use. High security is preferred. It’s unclear if there are models she can manage on her own—though that probably isn’t a huge deal. Hygiene/cleanliness matters to us too. We’re both college students, so we won’t likely need more than one device for quite some time. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Oh, and I’ll be in San Francisco for a bit if I can avoid shipping costs and snag a better price. Thanks!
