Hello everyone,
Miss and I have been on a chastity journey since last December, starting with the CB2000. After just two or three days, my scrotum became quite tender, so a friend recommended trying a CB3000 cage.
I ordered one made some adjustments to the spacers and the original CB2000 base ring, and found a comfortable fit that avoided soreness. Miss was very happy with this change and began extending both my lockup duration and release intervals.
However, after several months, I’ve noticed a couple of problems with the 3000 cage. Let me explain:
I have a penis accessory (PA) piercing. Usually, I wear a 19mm x 4mm CBR ring while in the device, but switch back to my standard 6mm CBR when released.
My dimensions are relatively compact—about one inch soft and four inches erect—which means the CB3000 cage feels quite large for me. To address this, I started using a larger 22mm x 5mm CBR ring with my PA piercing. This ring has a ball that is bigger than the slot at the end of the cage, keeping my glans securely in place nicely. There are long-term considerations here though: if caught by clothing or while lying down and moving (for instance, in bed), the penis can sometimes get trapped between the bar and the cage wall. For this reason, I remove it when dressed.
Conversely, the smaller 19mm x 4mm CBR ring I typically use inside the cage only fits through sideways. It gets stuck if pulled up into the tunnel as my glans shrinks to its usual size. This can pinch the tip of the penis between the cage wall and the ring—ouch! Additionally, it can get pulled into the central air slots at the top and bottom of the tube, causing it to jam.
Miss suggested I tape over the holes. My concern is that this might reduce ventilation and cause the adhesive to hold urine drops, sweat, and precum for extended periods between removals (usually every day or two). Plus, repeatedly replacing the tape leaves sticky residue inside the cage tube.
I have resorted to regularly readjusting my penis using a straightened paper clip hook. This helps me retrieve my PA ring and reposition everything, especially before urinating.
In the meantime, I’ve modified an old CB2000 cage by removing the center section bars and gluing just the end section onto the securing ring. Although it is small, I found the original setup too tight for my build, but of course, suffering again with a large securing ring brought back some scrotal soreness. Miss was thrilled that my glans was finally confined in a suitably snug space—don’t you just love your Key Holder? smiles.
I’ve been looking at the CB6000S model and the Birdlocked Mini, but I can’t decide which is better for me. I’m leaning toward the CB6000S because the airholes are now positioned on the sides, which should prevent my ring from getting painfully trapped occasionally.
I wonder if those who own the CB6000S truly find that half-inch reduction in length worth the extra cost? To me, a mostly empty cage looks quite pathetic and becomes an easy target for Miss to tease about how small I am. Hmm, well maybe it’s not so bad after all…
Many Thanks, Jack.
