Hi there! It’s been quite some time since I last shared an update. Recently, I made a choice to keep my HT v2 on while going through airport security. The reason isn’t that I doubt my ability to manage for the few hours of a flight; rather, it was more like testing whether the scanner would actually notice it. So there I stood in line waiting to pass the machine, wondering what would happen next. To be safe, I arrived at the airport a bit early just in case I needed to explain things to security staff or undergo extra checks such as a physical search. When my turn came, I did the usual routine: took off my jacket, wallet, watch etc. (which went into the bin for hand luggage scanning) and got ready to walk through the body scanner. The signal gave me permission to proceed:confused: and…absolutely nothing happened!:D Fantastic news: the HT v2 stayed silent during the scan. As I put my jacket, watch etc. back on, I couldn’t help but smile lightly; it felt like a small victory. I’m not sure if I’ll always keep the HT v2 on when traveling from now on, but knowing that it passed through the walk-through scanner without issue feels great (though I haven’t tried it with a handheld wand yet). We shall see what happens on my next trips. Today marks day 48 of being locked. The teasing is mostly gone, though my wife occasionally ‘checks’ to make sure the HT v2 is still in place when we hug;), and I’m perfectly fine with that. I’d love a bit more teasing, but it’s wonderful to have the HT v2 become part of my everyday gear and fully accepted by my wife. What more could you ask for? Yes, I feel like one of the lucky ones who has gained another valuable experience. I’m feeling good!:)
