My wife was looking for a new device and sent me a photo of one that we’ve since lost. Unfortunately, I can only describe it. It’s a shaft-only piercing piece. Think along the lines of the Prince’s Collar (from Steelworks) or the Mouse Trap (by MM). It’s made of steel and came in two variations: one without any glans coverage, and another with a four-bar cage over the head. I’m really hoping to track down that caged version.
