Today brought a mishap that might actually be chance to enhance my neosteel arch.
While walking, I felt an abrupt pop between my legs and a release of pressure. Rushing into a restroom for inspection, I discovered the rear cable had snapped (or rather come loose) at its scrotum end.
I’ll definitely reach out to Neosteal soon to get it sorted—but as I type this waiting for my partner to arrive with the key, I’ve noticed I’m not getting that strong burning feeling in my scrotum. Usually, after about ten minutes of sitting, the tube pressing underneath causes it.
Could the rear cable have been too short and tight? Maybe the tension caused the breakage? Should I request they add a couple of centimeters to the length?
Any insights from other arch users??
On another note: I’ve owned my neosteal for nearly a year now, wearing it quite sporadically (my partner only indulges my fetishes occasionally). It feels much more secure than the ball trap devices I used before (like the CB6000 and mature metal Jailbird). My main issue has been comfort while sitting. Sleeping and walking are no problem.
Hygiene was a bit tricky too. With the Jailbird, I could wear it for weeks without worry—but because escaping is so easy with the neosteal, I need to open it every two or three days for cleaning. Being uncut also means I get edema on the foreskin under the penis. Since my partner probably wouldn’t want me undergoing a PA procedure, I suspect the neosteal will remain as good as it gets for quite some time.
