I’ve been secured in my Queens Keep for just over two months without release, and yesterday morning brought a truly agonizing incident.
I was down playing rough with my two children (ages 2 and 4). The play went well until the toddler decided to leap onto me. He landed directly on top of my cage, pushing one testicle through the opening and completely out of the QK housing. Having taken hits in the nuts while playing sports growing up, I can say this was just as painful. This is a first for me—a slip-through—despite the excellent fit and sizing of the QK. Had it not slipped, the pain likely would have been even sharper, possibly causing something to pop.
My wife/KH witnessed the event and had to pull the kids off me; she immediately recognized I was in severe distress. It didn’t seem like I needed to ask for the key—she simply passed it over so I could check for damage and reset everything properly.
On a side note, being out allowed me to inspect things closely. There were no problems from the impact or from wearing the cage continuously (my previous longest stint was 32 days). I slipped right back in and am now counting down the days until either Christmas or New Year’s.
