Seeking physical proximity and warmth

For the men here who are coupled up, how many would describe their partners as physically affectionate? I’m wondering if my interest in chastity stems from a desire for… well, it’s hard to put into words… physical connection or being close. Nearness of some kind? I know I picked my partner—and I’ve dated women who felt too clingy at times—but is this the flip side? Am I craving that closeness myself? Not necessarily cause and effect, but perhaps linked? What does everyone else think?
