"Mr Brightside" by the Killers as a Cuck Anthem?

Having a random thought while procrastinating at the café. Do you know “Mr Brightside” by The Killers? It’s an awesome track. At face value, it’s simply an absolute banger. But I get the feeling there might be a special resonance for cucks on another level entirely. Whenever that song plays, I feel a sort of riveting heartache that seems to mirror cuck angst. I desperately want to identify with him, yet equally desperate not to, and can’t pull myself away from listening. The lyrics yank me straight back to my permanently lovelorn days as a teenager/student—times consumed by unfulfilled longing—and those years were almost certainly formative for my kinks. (Note: I’m not technically a cuck, but I have plenty of extremely vivid fantasies in that direction). I just love it when this song comes on while hanging with friends—they all boogie along to the rhythm, and I get to enjoy it on a different, secret level. And that was even before I looked up the lyrics and noticed the opening line is “Coming out of my cage…” Wondering if any other songs trigger similar emotions for others?
