When the frost is on the pumpkin...

We in regions with real seasons know the cold is setting in, and it’s affecting how things fit compared to a few months back. A couple of days ago my car was covered in frost. I couldn’t find the scraper, so I dashed out, started the engine, and hit defrost. As usual, I dropped my keys. While half-kneeling to retrieve them… pain shot through my lower regions as my outer parts tried to pull up toward warmth, and my jeans provided just enough pressure for one of them to slip between the ring and cage. I caught my breath and went inside for the emergency key. Mrs Edge looked at me with sympathy but decided not to kiss it better. A warning for those in colder areas.
