So I’m off and running on my first day of my first Locktober, well not running but locked down tightly! We have had some not good things happening in our personal life and last night as we were winding down the discussion about things I asked ‘What about…?” I didn’t even get to finish the question..”You mean Locktober?” she asked. In the same breath she says “OH, WERE STILL DOING THAT!” very emphatically! Her tone and just the way she said it surprised me greatly. So far, so good! My day started with waking up to the wife already being in the shower. Coffee wasn’t poured for me yet, no big deal, she didn’t know when I was getting up. But as I sat sipping at my cup my wife comes out of our bed room with a towel on her head and wearing her robe…loosely open. Not what most would consider a ‘sexy’ look but I still consider her to be gorgeous even after 37 years being together. I said “Good Morning, did you have a good shower? By the way I’m ready when ever you are.” As she poured herself another cup she goes ” I have to get dressed and get ready, you just have to wait.” Ok, ok, patience is a virtue, I just have to wait. She gets ready, makes her lunch, gathers her stuff and finally says “Are you ready?” The new cage is already laid out on the bed. Now the first cage we got was a ‘not good’ CBxxxx knock off bought from Etsy. Longest I had been in it was a week for a couple of times. The new cage is much better fitting, impossible to ‘sneak’ out of, very comfortable on me but very ‘strict’ in how it fits. The longest I’ve worn it is just over 24 hours! What have I gotten myself into, I’m my own worst enemy! But looking forward to this sooo much. Anyways I put it on, she has the lock and key in her hand, slides the lock in, turns the key and as she pulls it out…’Welcome to Locktober” So far, so good except for making sure I’m all cleaned up after taking a pee. But Q-tips and being fastidious and I think I’ve been doing a good job. So far day 1 hasn’t been troublesome but the day isn’t over yet. The wife is on the way home, no idea what she might have ‘up her sleeve’ and then we’ll see how sleeping goes. Bring on day 2!
