Preface: I’ve had a CB3000 for years and mostly find it annoying. There are periods when I enjoy it, but eventually the discomfort and feeling of insecurity get to me, causing me to stash it in a drawer for about a year. For what it’s worth, this is more of a toy—I have kinkier tastes than my wife. The main goal is “keep hands off” and some secret fetish enjoyment rather than anything profound. When I first started with the CB, she was willing to hold the key, but since I couldn’t even manage overnight wear back then, it kind of faded away. Since I can’t wear this at work, my routine is evenings and weekends, with long-term use being overnight. Previously, I bought a knockoff Holy Trainer that didn’t fit well and wasn’t great. Plus, having a varicocele and cycling means ball capture devices are tricky for me, so I wanted a full belt. After browsing eBay extensively, I finally decided to buy it. If it was poor quality, the worst-case scenario was losing $60; if lucky, at least it would be usable. I settled on a design and compared options. While I usually prefer eBay, prices there have risen, so I went direct from overseas this time. Link below. Now for the device itself. Fair is fair: despite my bias, I loved it right out of the box. It’s heavy—about 1.25 pounds—and the initial fit was quite loose. I ordered the size “up to” a 34-inch waist; I usually wear a 33 (or sometimes a 34 with a belt). My height is around 5’10” and weight about 180 lbs. One of the best features is how easy it is to adjust. The Torx bolts work on gold pinch blocks that guide the cables underneath. You just loosen the bolt, slide the cable into position, and tighten again. I spent an evening making tiny adjustments until everything felt right. Once fitted, it barely moves at all, and you hardly notice the weight. There are so many options though; you can easily get distracted tweaking things endlessly. I found that tighter is better, although getting the butt cable tucked in properly required some commitment. The tubing feels like soft rubber, possibly neoprene, though I’m not entirely sure, and it’s fairly difficult to cut through. It might have been slightly too tight around my waist initially, as my hips got quite irritated. We’ll see how that settles with a bit more fiddling. The cable ends slide neatly into the next section of tubing for a clean finish—no loose or frayed strands visible. The cables are surprisingly thick; I forgot to take a photo. Then there’s the shield, which excites me most. Its face is perfectly smooth, and I can’t stop touching it. The edges look good too. It’s THICK—you really cannot bend or flex it. My genitals stay tucked away out of sight. With my old CB, things stuck out but flopped around; now everything has disappeared into the setup. It also gets pleasantly warm to touch. When aroused while wearing the CB felt great, almost as if someone were gently squeezing me. Sensation is minimal, though you feel some pressure when erect. The tube diameter matches up well with my size and works better than expected. I was worried about slipping out since I’m not particularly large, but it stays put. My scrotum just gets pressed down a bit; had slight pinching the other night. The shield is narrow enough that it does rub against my inner thighs slightly, which I accept given that the CB made me bow-legged. Security-wise—it really feels like Fort Knox visually and physically. Maybe I could pull out if I tried hard enough, but it would be unpleasant. Otherwise, getting it off requires power tools. Although I hope my wife might hold the keys someday, I’m a bit terrified of being locked in permanently without an easy escape route. Oh, and that padlock is cheap-looking; hopefully there’s a sturdier one available that fits the post correctly. On the downside: sitting isn’t fun. It rides up and pushes into my belly while adding pressure to the sacrum area. Pooping requires holding the cable aside, which isn’t ideal. I don’t mind peeing seated since it just runs out the bottom without needing a specific tube or channel setup. The cable ends connecting to the post are merely okay—thinner washers crimped and welded onto them rather than being robust. Showering with it on causes water to fill up inside the sheathing. Overall, I’m very happy for $58 shipped. If this had cost $400–$500, I’d still likely be satisfied. It has flaws but performs surprisingly well considering the price tag. As someone who struggles post-purchase regret heavily, I feel thrilled with this buy. TL;DR? Want a full belt solution? Get one. Cheers! Let me know if anyone wants to see photos of it being worn—I can attach them. … 1802mbdbX6
