I am new to this arena, yet after over a year I am seriously contemplating starting chastity soon with my wife. It might be a “part-time” lock arrangement: generally kept locked during the day but free at night while sleeping beside her. A primary driver for me is worry about long-term health.
So far I have self-tested two devices; one was a very short metal cage, and the other resembles a CB-6000 but features a “vice” with a clamp mechanism designed to prevent pull-out. After testing it for several hours or even a full day, I noticed my manhood sometimes became limp afterward. Initially, this terrified me, but after about a week, full health seemed restored. There are various clamp sizes available, so I opted for the larger “no clamp” choice rather than the smallest one. This helped somewhat, though sensitivity remains; I also need to check different ring sizes.
Then there is the night-time boner issue. It’s less about comfort and more intuition (supported by some internet chatter) that nocturnal erections help keep the manhood healthy through a nightly flow of full blood.
What do you all think? Any stories or experiences? I appreciate any input.
