Newcomer here trying to resolve an edema issue from our first attempt. We just began chastity play a few weeks back, initially buying a couple of inexpensive Chinese cages to test the waters - ended up choosing a Jail House that ‘appeared’ to fit well. Total length including ring (measured centerline along curve): 85mm / 3-1/2” with a 35mm internal diameter. … =UTF8&th=1 The first week I wore it for several days, the second week for six. Last Tuesday, after being locked up for a full week, I decided to take it off because my head looked ‘puffy’ underneath - I believe I had quite severe edema on the underside of my glans, behind and slightly right of the frenulum, plus a quarter-sized area further down on my shaft. I removed the cage in the morning; by afternoon things improved but were still visible. After 24 hours it cleared up significantly, though some ‘slight’ areas remain noticeable if you look closely. My Measurements (flaccid - BTW, I am circumcised): Length (measured from top of shaft): 4” / 101.6mm Glans Diameter & left foreskin overlap: 1.5” / 38.1mm Shaft diameter: 1.25” / 31.75mm I started with a 45mm ring but found it would slide down during the day as I moved around. Then switched to a 40mm ring - balls first, and you have to really squeeze my glans and shaft firmly to get them through; initially felt very tight but adjusted quickly - no color changes or obvious circulation issues. Typical nighttime burning from ereasons subsided considerably after a few days. While wearing the cage I noticed I seemed slightly more aroused than usual, pushing up against the bars along my entire shaft (go figure…), on Monday before removal I was having trouble with skin bulging through the bars constantly in the area where there is extra skin behind the frenulum - also during this time some evenings my wife would enjoy teasing me to watch me strain against the cage - I LOVED that too:D We are both VERY adventurous privately and even though we’re just starting, we seem to really like this new dynamic so far - sincerely hope we can get it right. Went as far as ordering a Red Chili Tarantula over the weekend only to cancel Tuesday morning after discovering the edema and potential cage size issue - I had used this cheap cage to match dimensions for the Tarantula - Aken was quick with the refund; hopefully I can sort this out and reorder. So… Is it likely a case of diameter being too small? The 40mm ring is tight but seems just a bit too tight since blood flow appears fine and I can fit a finger underneath - I do compress the skin during the finger test if that matters. Did we jump in with too much time in the cage too quickly? My current thought is to try a mid-range cage to help pinpoint the correct size, leaning towards the S/S Spiral from UberKinky - small size which has 100mm overall length and a cage diameter of 39mm. … 92662.html suggestions? Both my Wife/KH and I really want to figure this out - sorry for the long post. Thanks, Steve
