Advantages and disadvantages of extremely short cage tubes

As I mentioned earlier, my wife is keen on keeping me locked up indefinitely. The term “indefinitely” fits because she has some conscientious reservations about permanent chastity. After a few months pass, her sympathy kicks in and she allows me an orgasm. If this arrangement suits her best, I’m happy to stick with it. My main issue is that I am exhausted from taking off my Holy Trainer every day for cleaning. I need something I can leave on for at least a week between cleanings (ideally longer). Another aspect of the Holy Trainer that hasn’t sat well with me is the tube length. Despite being the short version, it still feels excessively long when flaccid. Often there’s nearly an inch of dead space inside. When I replace the Holy Trainer, I’m thinking about dropping down significantly in tube size. The question for me is how small is too small? In a fully flaccid state, my length ranges from 1.5” to 1.75”, but it expands to roughly 6” when erect. What are the pros and cons of choosing a cage that fits tightly (when soft) versus one with more room for expansion?
