Should an Uncircumcised Man Get Cut?

Hi everyone,

I’m uncircumcised (in the UK, it’s standard to leave baby boys without a cut). Is anyone else in that same boat?

Once I’m locked up, I have no access to the keys at all. My wife doesn’t want the hassle of digging them out from their hiding spot whenever needed, so she rarely lets me out even for cleaning purposes. Since hygiene is important to me, when this latest stint began seven weeks ago, I decided to tuck my foreskin back completely inside the cage.

It’s been working well mostly. I shower daily and can get soap onto the glans easily enough to keep it clean and free of smell. However, where does that skin go? With my stainless steel Spiral device, it has to bulge out into the gap between the cage and the ring, creating a somewhat unsightly lump.

This creates another issue: folds of skin now trap moisture and are hard to clean properly. By poking around, I’ve managed to unravel some of these folds and discovered an unpleasant buildup of gunk inside them. It’s not ideal.

Furthermore, the bars on the Spiral are fairly close together. They’re just wide enough for a small fold of skin to get caught in or, worse, poke through so that it gets struck by the padlock. That hurts quite a bit!

For a budget-friendly stainless steel option, I’m very pleased with the Spiral. However, I realize that for true long-term chastity, I’ll need to invest in a custom-made device. Before making that move, I am seriously considering getting circumcised. At 54 years old, it might seem like an odd choice.

Does anyone here have experience with adult circumcision or other relevant advice?
