As my crossfire sits there waiting to be sold, I’m considering purchasing a smaller device. It seems I made an error by choosing one that is not only too long but particularly too wide. Since I don’t wear it around the clock, buying another isn’t urgent. We usually rely on trust, though when excitement gets the better of me, I do need to be caged.
The main issue for me with open-style cages (I’ve experimented with a few Chinese models) is skin pinching during daytime hours; the glans skin tends to poke through the bars and get caught.
A Steelworxx Steelheart is on my radar, but I’m concerned about maintenance. The upside is that this design should prevent pinching, plus my wife approves.
On the flip side, the Revenge model looks appealing yet costs more; it appears to have ten bars with quite narrow gaps between them. If you own one, how has your experience been regarding pinching? Is the extra cost justified compared to the Steelheart?
