Which device style is less off-putting?

I had a question to ask but wasn’t certain whether it belonged in the General Chastity Chat section or under Chastity Devices, so I posted it here. My wife hasn’t fully embraced my wearing of a chastity device yet, nor has she warmed up to the concept overall (and she might never do; you can read all about that in my Journey thread). However, one thing she told me was, “That thing turns me off so I don’t want to know when it’s on.” I’m not sure if this refers specifically to the device or the entire idea, but for argument’s sake let us assume she means the physical object. The model I wear is a Holy Trainer V2 Standard Black tube with a black ring. I have also worn clear versions. Before pursuing that path with my wife, I was curious whether there is a general consensus among you fine folks here—especially keyholders—regarding which type and material creates the most appealing device…enclosed?…Jailbird style?…stainless versus plastic?
