dryness and tenderness following two weeks of locking

Ouch! I’ve been locked up by my wife for two weeks. Last night, the pain from those final few days became too much and I hadn’t been sleeping properly, so I asked to be let out. Now that I’m free, I’m recovering. My skin is incredibly dry with patches of epidermal soreness where pieces have flaked off or are missing. The silicone birdlocked device kept me in for 14 days. How can I prevent this next time? Is it a common issue? Specifically, the spots on my skin that got pulled through the vent holes were quite tender and sensitive.

I realize two weeks is barely anything to some of you guys here, but for us, it was a solid beginning. Thanks for your input. L4hj
