Do you have a favorite gag worth recommending?

My husband and I want to purchase an improved gag. We experimented with a low-cost ball gag and a “dildo-gag,” and while both were enjoyable, neither served as an effective gag really well. The sphere on the ball gag was oversized and relied on just a leather strap for securing it, whereas the dildo-gag felt more like a novelty piece than a practical tool.

So, we are at that stage where we mutually agree that using gags is pleasurable, making now the right time to invest in something of superior quality. Does anyone possess a gag they absolutely adore? A recommendation along those lines would be wonderful. Conversely, are there any styles we ought to avoid? And naturally, any broad advice is always appreciated.
