Steelheart Tube of 29mm Width

I’m considering switching from my current 32mm tube to a smaller 29mm one. The 32mm fits quite tightly most of the time, but I’ve been pondering this change and really want to give it a shot. I plan to return one of my existing tubes so they can make a narrower (38mm) base ring for it; that way I can test the new setup with the tube I’m currently wearing—I won’t send that specific tube back because I don’t want to be without it too long—and likely order the 29mm tube at the same time. Has anyone here used a 29mm tube? How has your experience been? Did you panic when you first saw how tiny it was:D thanks.
