Rewards and Punishments in Chastity Play

I’m curious what kind of “rewards and punishments” other users employ with MC. I use these terms loosely, knowing that many shades of grey make labeling difficult. Essentially, if my wife wants to encourage a behavior, she uses a reward; if she wants to discourage it, she uses a punishment.

We often brainstorm together to ensure we are on the same page. In this context, it matters most for me to perceive something as a reward or punishment, rather than her perspective being decisive (for example, I view a butt plug as a punishment, while others might see it as a reward).

I browse the web enough to have plenty of ideas ready, but I feel my own bias even when trying to avoid it. So, I ask for examples from you all. My wife and I can then review them together and bypass my “metal filter.” Thanks.;)
