Hey Markbentorah,

I’ve had the CB6000s for roughly a year and find them very comfortable. I’m uncut like you, so I dealt with that foreskin issue too. Trying to force your foreskin back isn’t great; it’ll likely give you a headache. It’s not used to being exposed and is sensitive, plus it won’t stay up on its own—it rolls down again in about five minutes.

I just stuff a folded square of tissue into the pee slot to keep things positioned correctly. When I need to urinate, I remove it and replace it with a fresh piece.

As for sizing, everyone is different. I eventually went down to the second-smallest ring paired with the second-smallest spacer (I started with the large one like you did). Neither too big nor too small works best. Too large pulls on your scrotum when you move around, while too small can be tight.

I’m no expert, but I found that a 45mm ring was perfect for a long time until it gradually stopped fitting as well over the months—you’ll recognize this feeling when you decide to downsize. The next size down felt very tight at first, so I wore it for short periods initially, then longer each day. Now I can sleep in it any night without issue (though we all have occasional bad nights).

I think 45mm is my lower limit now. After three months in this ring, everything feels right. Basically, you should be able to slide a pinky finger under the entire ring. This isn’t a perfect measurement method, so always err on caution. If it hurts or looks off, trust your instincts and go up a size. It’s not urgent; getting the right fit can take several months for some people—it took me about nine because my scrotum suddenly stretched out.

Hope this helps! Good luck, R

Every thread on this board is somebody in the same few months of their life, told from different ends of it: the conversation that has not happened yet, the one that ended in tears, the drink that went well, and the weeks afterwards. The site has a page for each, and one account of an evening written while it was still fresh.
