I often wonder whether men who practice male chastity will eventually open up about it more freely. Do you think the general public will ever view it as less of a kink? I imagine we all here have pondered that question before.
Take Melissa and me, for example. We’re pretty ordinary folks. Both of us work full-time, we’ve got children, I’m a veteran, and we vote and pay our taxes like everyone else. We shop at Wal-Mart and get ready for the holidays just about anyone else does. Tonight, you’ll likely find us snuggled up on the sofa watching Sunday Night Football.
Oh, right—we do practice male chastity. It has truly improved how we communicate, our intimacy, and our sex life.
I sometimes worry about feeling self-conscious if people found out what’s going on between Melissa and me. I suspect my initial reaction would be a bit of embarrassment, but then it would settle into a “so what?” attitude rather than getting defensive. Instead, I’d like to present the situation positively.
What are your thoughts? Michael
