Is Daily Lubrication Required for Chastity Wear?

Hey everyone, I’m really getting used to my CB6K now; I can wear it almost constantly. I’ve found that the middle ring paired with the second smallest spacer works best for me because the tighter spacing keeps things a bit chilly—though not enough to turn purple, just cold. My wife has let me keep her key freely until I’m fully accustomed to all-day wear, so there’s no strict deadline, just “when you’re comfortable.” Nights have been hit or miss; some are smooth while others are rough… lol. It feels like someone is rubbing a patch of carpet against my scrotum repeatedly. Anyway, I apply silicone lube around the ring about three times daily (morning, mid-afternoon, and before bed). A tiny dot on my finger does the job. My question is: will I ever reach a stage where I don’t need lube at all, or is regular application just part of standard chastity life? It’s not a huge issue, but I’m curious if that’s typical.
