Dry skin developing near the testicles and penis

I’m currently dealing with very dry skin around my penis and testicles after taking off the chastity device.

I’ve been soaking in warm baths and putting cream on that area quite thoroughly (it even got to the point of orgasm lol).

Has anyone else experienced this? I mean, I’m new to all of this. My scrotum and shaft are almost completely healed now. Just a couple more days and I’ll be fully recovered. Could it be because I wore the device too tightly?
