Is it a Jailbird for me? Or something else in the meantime?

I’ve worn my CB6Ks intermittently over the last eight months, but in those recent three months a specific issue has cropped up. After showering, I struggle to dry out properly inside the cage, which leads to an irritating rash on Mister Happy.

I’ve experimented with various techniques, but because the cage is packed quite full, there isn’t much space for air circulation from hair dryers or similar tools. Plus, I’m using Kept For Her’s KSD-G3 insert, which adds another layer of drying difficulty.

It has turned into a recurring problem, so currently, I take the device out every evening to shower and dry off. However, both my wife and I prefer wearing it for longer stretches between removals.

I believe an open-steel design like the Jailbird would solve this, allowing me to get completely dry without taking anything out. In the meantime, does anyone have other tips? Also, if you’ve tried something else besides the Jailbird, I’d love to hear about your alternatives.
