Here comes my third post today (if there’s a limit on how many threads I can start in quick succession, sorry about that—I just really need some guidance).
To cut to the chase: after my last release, I went downhill. My “drop” lasted roughly three weeks—characterized by lots of irritability, bitchiness, and a strong desire to control things). We had a few minor clashes, but nothing major. However, finances became the breaking point; my wife basically tore me apart, both verbally and psychologically. Honestly, I still look back on it in awe.
My wife and I had a lengthy discussion about this after I apologized, admitted fault, and… shifted some financial duties to her, for lack of a better word. Put simply: I’m broke now. We’ve also decided that long-term (or even permanent) denial is necessary for me to maintain my obedience and loving, submissive demeanor. I actually brought it up myself, and she agreed, since we both want the best version of me. My wife adores her sub and has little patience for the jerk he sometimes becomes.
We settled on “never again,” but she mentioned allowing one release a year if I can manage to keep my mood swings in check. It feels awful, and I’m not sure it’s even feasible.
So here is what I need. For those who have experienced long-term (meaning years) or permanent denial: how does this affect you psychologically? Do your moods still cycle, and if so, are you generally “up” most of the time (referring to psychological state and mood)?
For the ladies who have permanently denied their partners (for years, or indefinitely): What are the drawbacks of permanent denial for him? The benefits? What pitfalls should we watch out for? What improvements can be expected? How did it change you psychologically? And how did it change your partner? Any recommendations for a solid device suitable for this purpose? I need a proper forever home soon!
And final
Does anyone else experience post-coital tristesse ( this way? I feel off-kilter. Previously diagnosed with mood disorders, but lately I’ve been wondering if they were tied to orgasm all along. While the rest of us might only suffer for a few days or a week after climaxing, my slump lasts about a month. Lots of anxiety and depression among other unpleasantness during that time. If I abstain from orgasms, I feel steady and fine. Any advice on managing these mood swings if she wants me to finish? Currently taking St. John’s Wort but hesitant to go with standard meds like SSRIs or DRI’s. Please help out if you can.
Apologies for ending my sentences with prepositions; I dislike how stiff it looks when corrected!
