Birdlocked discussion

Hello everyone! I absolutely adore my Birdlocked PA at the moment! I had to throw away the original cable because it ripped up my foreskin, but I swapped it for some spare jewelry. I took an old silver necklace and trimmed the length until it was perfect—specifically, very minimal tension on the PA ring. The necklace is quite flexible as well, which boosts comfort even more! Then I soldered the links to the rings that slide onto the lock’s hasp, achieving what I believe is a highly secure setup. But… Speaking of security… The BL isn’t exactly rock solid… not even with the anti-pullout chain I’m using. A quick snip from some scissors could open it up. Also, while there might never be such thing as a “perfectly” secure device, I feel metal would definitely act as a stronger psychological and physical barrier… I was curious if any other guys have gone straight from the Birdlocked to a all-metal contraption…? I want to see how metal devices stack up against the BL’s comfort. From my perspective, this device is flawless. Nighttime erections just feel like my penis is being held by a steady hand. Compared to the pain I endured in my CB3000, I consider the BL paradise! Plus, no chafing at all! My wife and I are thinking about getting a metal device, but I’m worried I’ll get that earlier mentioned pain during sleep erections again—ie when a solid ring pulls on your scrotum and it feels like burning fire! Not to mention more chafing! Could anyone share their thoughts comparing the comfort of switching from the BL to a fixed-ring metal device (any brand!) please? With many thanks and warmest regards J
