- Mostly inStarting out
Alright, where do I start? I’ll kick things off with two points: I’m new to this lifestyle and younger than most when they choose it. I am 22 years old. My partner (who acts as my pet) is 27 and also just starting out in the lifestyle. We have both been interested in the concept for some time now. We actually met online and began discussing it before we knew much about each other personally or otherwise back then. At that point, I wasn’t sure anything would come of our chats, but it turns out we “click” well on a personal level as well as sexually. So, I want to be the one holding his key, while he has ordered a custom device and received a piercing. I suppose I’m worried I’ve taken on more than I can handle. Is this feeling normal? I haven’t really been dominant before. I worry that maybe it isn’t for me. Specifically, I fear that my needs are too frequent for the lifestyle to work smoothly. For instance, I have always needed a lot of kissing, cuddling, and reassurance of safety. Can those needs fit into this setup? I think I tend to let others sleep with me (even if it’s not what I really want) just to avoid feeling rejected. How do I move from that mindset to being the keyholder for chastity? Is that even realistic? I hope I don’t sound completely silly. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
