Birdlocked discussion

Hello, I joined up here because I was somehow persuaded over at milovana to give chastity a try;-) I decided on the Birdlocked instead of the CB6000… perhaps it would have been smarter to do it the other way around. But since I’m fairly new to these gadgets, I chose the comfort offered by the Birdlocked. After trying it out initially, I found that the negative reviews here were accurate. I should have looked into this before buying rather than after… well, too late now. It was wearable, but issues arose pretty quickly. I wore it for several nights and also did a 24-hour stretch during the day. There was some chafing because I underestimated how much lubrication is needed, and I noticed skin poking out through the air holes on the cage sides. Uncomfortable, but manageable. Or so I believed! When removing it, I saw significant swelling of the foreskin (edema, fluid buildup in the tissue), abrasions underneath the shaft, and irritation where the holding ring sits. I also discovered that simply pulling down the upper outer ring of the Neo allows my penis to slip out easily, letting me remove the entire cage. I experimented with cable ties, thinking reducing the ring diameter would stop slippage. It helped somewhat but could potentially cause circulation problems. Reading more about CBs and the KSD made me realize that it’s not the ring size itself, but the “spacer” causing this. I did further research and started compiling a collection of articles and tips for cages. A post here by “whizz” on the referenced community page really got my modification journey started.

1. Vent holes, Skin poking: First, I sealed off the vent holes… If skin pokes through them and gets stuck, no more venting… I cleaned the silicone with ethyl alcohol and filled the holes using tube silicone (Universal Silikon from Obi, a German hardware store). I performed all mods step-by-step, testing each stage. Let it cure for 24 hours before putting it back on.
2. Edema: I widened the penis tube and lowered its bottom rim, keeping the testes trapped more effectively, similar to having a smaller spacer size in CBs. I cut (see images) about a centimeter into the silicone, held it open with a screwdriver handle, and cleaned again with alcohol. Be careful here; once you start cutting, the silicone tears very easily. Filled the cuts with silicone, maybe 3-4 mm on the outside so the filled area is triangular. Wipe off extra silicone right away.
3. Pullout 1: In the upper inner part of the “a-ring”, I added a ridge of silicone to make pullouts harder. Harder yes, but still possible.
4. Pullout 2: I added another ridge to the inner “roof” of the penis tube, pointing slightly toward the tip. This makes pulling out very difficult.
5. Pullout 3: The next day I added a sort of “nose” to this ridge by placing two thick drops of silicone there, facing the tube’s tip. It acts as resistance for pullouts: easy going in, soft so your penis pushes it up without feeling much. But now pulling out is impossible for me. Removing the cage requires lifting the penis cage, which only works if the strap is unlocked. Seems comfortable and secure these days. Go ahead, adding silicone modifications to a birdlock is really simple.
